The Police

You honestly didn't think you were going to get away without me waxing lyrical about how wonderful The Police were now did you?

Let me tell you all about the first installment at the NIA... the next being at Twickenham on Saturday and then the final at Cardiff in October.

The support act was Fiction Plane who are headed by Sting's Son Joe Sumner. The boy has got a very familiar voice and knows how to own the stage just like his Dad. For anyone that's a fan of Sting I think their musc is worth a listen.

The stage set was 3 man rock and roll band simplicity in it's finest form. The light show was effective and the band are equally as good as they ever were.

Setlist:
Message in a Bottle
Synchronicity II
Walking On The Moon
Voices Inside My Head
When The World Is Running Down
Don't Stand So Close To Me
Driven To Tears
Truth Hits Everybody
Hole In My Life
Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic
Wrapped Around Your Finger
De Do Do Do De Da Da Da
Walking In Your Footsteps
Can't Stand Losing You
Roxanne
King Of Pain
So Lonely
Every Breath You Take
Next To You

There was a wonderful selection of photographs
that accompanied the Invisible Sun
rendition which you can have
a look on by clicking the link above.
As always Sting (even at 55) looks as fit and gorgeous as he always did. There again I am totally biased in my opinion and can only live in hope that there will be a man out there like that for me...
